The Empower Tamizhagam Bull Logo
The bull logo has its origins in the public movement which reached its pinnacle in January 2017. It represents the yearning of the citizens of Tamil Nadu, in particular the NextGen segment. The week-long gathering of several hundreds of thousands of people at Marina Beach, Chennai (India) went on day and night. The groups also included families and children. Pointedly it was an apolitical movement for change – forsaking the traditional white attire for black shirts and jeans.
This was above and beyond the protest for banning Jallikattu – the traditional tamil bull-embracing harvest festival. It was a celebration of life with singing and chanting, drums into the night. It was a safe and peaceful gathering with good positive energies. This mega gathering had volunteers step up and organize food dispensing points along with traffic controls.
The bull became a symbol of this entire state of the empowered mind – and the spirit of what we intend to nourish, incubate and scale. Personal action for the greater good. The bull also represents focused consistent powerful action (aatrall) that yields results in a clear tangible way. Insightful impatience can be a virtue. For a better Tamizhagam, India and world…
Please join us in the bull pen.
