ET Orphanage Outreach Program

‘There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a happy and smiling child’ The Empower Tamizhagam team has been experiencing this joy from the kids of Sri Arunodhayam. We have been distributing healthy food and treats for more than 100 children as part of our Orphanage Outreach Program. We appreciate the great work done by Sri Arunodhayam during these times of distress. Sri Arunodayam is a home for mentally challenged children who have been abandoned by their families. ET has been providing food, essentials, and medical supplies to children and orphans across Tamil Nadu state, India. We extend our deepest gratitude to our generous donors including Ms. Reena Chhabra and Mr. Rajat Khurana. We invite you to join the cause. Livelihood efforts have a direct impact on the children’s prospects, health and development. #ETIndia #ETImpact #empowertamizhagam #ngo #ngos #charity #nonprofit #ngoindia #change #india #chennai #children #volunteer #orphanages #children #outreach #nonprofits #nonprofitsindia #donate #livelihood #instagood

Oxygen concentrators provide supplementary oxygen for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and, in higher concentrations, for severe chronic hypoxemia and pulmonary edema. An oxygen concentrator is a medical device that concentrates oxygen from ambient air. Atmospheric air has about 78 per cent nitrogen and 21 per cent oxygen. The oxygen concentrator takes in this air, filters it through a sieve, releases the nitrogen back into the air, and works on the remaining oxygen.

Funds blocked to Indian NGOs

REFORM FCRA: People are literally dying today…Foreign donations to Indian NGOs are effectively banned, thanks to a new FCRA Amendment Act, 2020. This unnecessarily complicates fund transfers even to small field NGOs, and a host of other crippling restrictions. COVID19 Coronavirus disaster relief has been impossible, and we the civil society community have been unable to help frontline workers, children, farmers and the poor. India and its govt cannot, and need not fight alone. Let foreign donations through. Lives and livelihoods do matter… Our request to the Government of India, given a resurgent pandemic: Each day of delay costs lives, literally. Let us help our people! If the worst is yet to hit, let us prepare! Meme article courtesy Times of India newspaper.https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/chennai/tamil-nadu-ngos-see-foreign-funding-dip-by-90/articleshow/82000994.cms A call out for writers, lawyers, analysts, Members of Parliament, judiciary, patrons, and volunteers. We need your help, engagement and funds. If you are an NGO facing issues or want to join the cause, please ping us. Join the Cause!
